How do I shop on Stroll the Arcade?
Use the gold navigation bar at the top of the screen to select Shop by Destination, Shop by Category, and Shop by Product or Sale Items.
Shop by Destination and Shop by Category display the store logo and a sample photograph from each Independent Boutique. While Shop by Product and Sale Items displays individual products available for purchase from each boutique.
Shop by Destination/Shop by Category - Browse the stores by using the scroll bar to move down the screen. Next, click on any store that interests you. In Shop by Destination you will be provided with an information window to tell you more about the store and its products and designs. This is only a small sample of what they have to offer. Click ‘Enter Online Store’ and you will open their own website. Shop around and buy whatever suits your fancy. When you have finished in the store just click ‘Return to Arcade’ or make a new choice from the gold navigation bar at the top of the screen.
Shop by Product/ Sale Items - Scroll down the page to view the products. When an item interests you or you would like to see other similar items, just click on the ‘visit online store’ button at the base of the photo. You will be taken to the exact page on that Boutique Store’s website which sells that product. You can then either purchase that product, continue to explore that Boutique Store’s website, or use the gold navigation bar at the top of the screen to make a new selection and continue shopping.
What can I buy?
On Stroll the Arcade you can purchase many unique designs and quality items.
Our categories include: Women’s clothing designs, Menswear, Children’s clothing, Children’s products, Baby products and Pregnancy, Accessories , Shoes, Bags, Gifts, Home, Jewellery, Health and Body Products, Art, Gourmet Food, Music, Certified Organic and more. All stores that appear in a particular category DO have that product.
Stroll the Arcade also supports shopping in Charity Gift stores. Here you can shop in the online store of a variety of Non-Profit Organisations and whilst enjoying your purchases also contribute to making the world a better place.
How do I purchase?
You can purchase once you enter the store’s own website. Just follow the usual e-commerce facility of that particular store.
What is Sale?
This is our SALE page. Browse the sale items and if you are interested click on ‘visit online store’, you will be taken to that exact page on the store’s own website. Sale items are added regularly.
Do you have services on your site?
Stroll the Arcade is predominantly a boutique shopping website however we do offer links to a variety of services that can be found in the destinations we feature on the site. Just go to the links page.
Can I contact an Individual Store?
Yes you can. Once in the store’s website click on the Contact Us information and you will be directed to their phone number and email contact.
What if I have a problem with the goods I receive? Or the delivery is late
You need to contact the actual store that you purchased the goods from. Each store is responsible for their own e-commerce and postage. We would appreciate you sending an email informing us of any problem you may encounter whilst shopping with a particular store, however Stroll The Arcade is not responsible or liable for any goods purchased via our website. We do however only have quality stores on our website who have a good reputation for quality and service.
I own a Boutique Store. How do I apply?
Email us your store’s name, contact person’s name and phone number. We will respond within a few days. apply@strollthearcade.com
What does ‘REAL STORE’ actually mean?
All the online stores on Stroll the Arcade actually have a physical presence in a shopping destination. They either have a shop front you can go and visit or a designer market stall operating.
How do I remember the stores I like best?
Once you register as a user you can bookmark your favourites by clicking ‘Add to Favourites’. You can then peruse your favourites anytime you want to return to a particular store.
Do all stores have ‘Buy Now’?
Most stores on Stroll the Arcade have quick and easy e-commerce facilities. If a store doesn’t have shop online buttons then they will be in the process of updating their website and will have them soon.
Do all stores have International Posting?
Most stores are able to post internationally and also have an automated postage calculator; however there are a few stores that require you to email for a price on international shipping. The store will reply to you with the cost and you may choose whether to proceed with the purchase. When viewing the store profile in ‘Shop by Destination’ or ‘Shop by Category’ you will see the store either has INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING or DOMESTIC SHIPPING ONLY. This information is also presented on the gold navigation bar you will see at the top of each store’s own website.
